- Greg GMichael gives a great 30 min tour. Lots of fun facts and stories about the builder of this "castle!" Worth it for your Cambria bucket list!
- Decline TMy wife and I used to drop in on Art once in awhile back in the early 70's and he was always cordial and happy to give us a tour of his latest building efforts. Art's place was made mostly of junk, cast-offs and things he found on the beach, and he was amazingly creative. We used to bring him odd items we'd found, and he'd incorporate them into part of his ever-expanding house, art work or some outdoor project. Art had a favorite joke and he never remembered who he told it to. I know because he must have told it to us at least 5 times. It goes "Do you know what newlywed salad is made of? Lettuce alone." He loved the local wine, and there's some really good ones in the hills of this area, so if stopping by was in our travel plans we always took him a bottle of some good local product. He was truly unique. People like that should live forever, it should be a rule.
- mandy kInteresting to see. The history is on a pamphlet in front of the house. Wish we could have been able to take the tour, just didn't plan well. There is a turn out to park but the road is very narrow. Be careful
